This week our co-host is Peachy Diary!
Last week, I showed you my new mums at work infographic. Thank you so much to everybody who commented, it was so interesting to read your thoughts. From stories of women who were put off from returning to work because they had no flexibility, to those that weren’t surprised by the stats as they either felt less enthusiastic about work or live in a country that isn’t as flexible as the UK.
This week, I’m linking up with an open letter to a new mum I saw on a walk while out with a friend and our two toddlers. As a new mum, I remember looking at older children with the same fondness – almost wishing my time away. So this letter is for that mum. The mum I used to be. Cherish your time while they’re babies as although it doesn’t get easier (oh how I thought it would), the challenges we’re faced with do change.
Well done to our three favourite posts from last week:
- Just Saying Mum – Be you. My favourite!
I absolutely adored this post about how Helen found her blogging voice. It made me think about when I first started blogging and what sort of blogger I thought I’d be. I too thought I’d be a funny blogger, but alas it was a square peg and a round hole. Sure, I can be funny, but that’s not all me. If you’re looking for the funniest version of me, check our my Instagram stories.
Claire’s and Laura’s favourite posts were:
2. The Hollyhock Door – In our shoes.
3. Mummy in a Tutu – I’m sorry about my child.
